Both the ceremony and reception will be held at historic Alder Manor in Yonkers, NY. The ceremony is scheduled to commence outdoors at 5 P.M., in the garden of the Manor (we are hoping for a beautiful Spring day!) With a romantic and relaxed vibe, Kristen and Nick fell in love with this venue, hoping our guests would simply take it easy, have a drink, and help us celebrate! We hope you all love the beautiful architecture and charm of this 1912 estate along the Hudson River as much as we do.

Accommodations

Rooms are blocked at the Hampton Inn, less than half a mile from Alder Manor. Reservations need to be made by March 30, 2014 to ensure you receive the discounted rate. The hotel is newly built and has great accommodations- free wifi, free continental breakfast, a fitness center, and an indoor heated pool. Shuttles will be provided to and from the property so no one staying at a hotel will need to worry about driving the night of the wedding.

Train Directions from NYC

Take the Metro North (Hudson Line) from Grand Central Station to Greystone. The trains run once an hour and take 35 minutes. If there are no cabs available at the station, please call Yonkers Car Services at 914-423-3111.

Driving Directions to Alder Manor

From NYC - Take the West Side Highway North. Stay on the highway as it turns to Henry Hudson Parkway and then to the Saw Mill Parkway North. Take Saw Mill Parkway 4.4 miles to exit 9, Executive Boulevard, in Yonkers. After 1 mile, Executive Boulevard dead-ends into North Broadway. Turn left onto North Broadway. After 0.2 miles, Alder Manor will be on your right (sign says "Foxfire School"). The venue will be on your right hand side after you pass the sign.

From Rockland County & the North - Take I-287 E over the Tappan Zee Bridge. Just after the bridge, take the exit to I-87 S toward NYC. After 1 mile, take exit 7A, Saw Mill Parkway South. Take the Saw Mill Parkway South 5.8 miles and make a right onto Executive Boulevard in Yonkers. After 1 mile, Executive Boulevard dead-ends into North Broadway. Turn left onto North Broadway. From Connecticut & the East - Take the Merritt Parkway or I-95 S to I-287 W. Take the exit to I-87 S toward NYC. Take exit 7A, Saw Mill Parkway South. From Long Island - Take I-495 W to exit 31-N for the Cross Island Parkway North. Take exit 33 for I-295/Throgs Neck Bridge. After the bridge, merge onto I-95 N. Then take exit 9 for the Hutchinson River Parkway North. Take exit 13 to merge onto the Cross County Parkway. Take exit 2 for the Saw Mill Parkway North. Take exit 9 onto Executive Boulevard. From New Jersey and the South - Take I-95N to the George Washington Bridge. Take exit 1 to New York 9A S and follow signs to New York 9A N. Merge into New York 9A N.
